Canadian Yukon 2017

Join us for a journey of a lifetime trekking and paddling through Canada’s Yukon territory and experience the vast expanse of untouched and unspoiled wilderness of the region. Exploring the Yukon’s spectacular mountains, rivers, lakes and valleys you will have the choice to either trek or paddle in this truly wild landscape, while spending your evenings camped beside the river bank under the stars around a camp fire.

Scale rocky peaks and explore remote valleys with your fire group (approx. 10 explorers) as you reach out from base camp to complete scientific field work, media projects and look for the evidence of wildlife as you track moose, elk and caribou.

All of our expeditions are designed to take you out of your comfort zone in a challenging yet safe environment, with a real focus on the skills and personal development you will gain from the experience.

Don’t forget that you can also earn up to £1000 towards an expedition through our Explorer Miles volunteering initiative. Explorer Miles is British Exploring’s unique scheme that rewards you for making a difference in your local community through taking part in social action or volunteering projects.
