Scouts Canadian Yukon 2020

Start your journey to the Canadian Yukon with British Exploring Society and Scouts today. This is an exclusive opportunity for Scouts Network members to trek and paddle through Canada’s Yukon territory and experience the vast expanse of untouched and unspoiled wilderness of the region. Exploring the Yukon’s spectacular mountains, rivers, lakes and valleys while trekking and paddling in this truly wild landscape, while spending your evenings camped beside the river bank under the stars around a camp fire.

The expedition will give you an opportunity to scale rocky peaks and explore remote valleys with your fire group (approx. 10 explorers) as you reach out from base camp to complete Science projects, media projects and look for evidence of wildlife as you track moose, elk and caribou.

The expedition has been designed to take you out of your comfort zone in a challenging yet safe environment, with a real focus on the skills and personal development you will gain from the experience. The safety and support of our explorers is the cornerstone on which we build and develop an expedition from conception through to departure and return.
