Learn how to thrive in an amazing environment, immerse yourself in wilderness and learn to work together to face unknown challenges on our UK expedition.

UK Explorers takes British Exploring Society’s unique approach, based around Adventure, Knowledge and Personal Development, to a slightly more accessible location.

This is our first-ever programme to take place in the UK and whilst it is a complete, self-contained expedition journey in itself, it may also act as a stepping stone onto our international expeditions.

During your first day at base camp in Scotland, you will have a chance to agree as a group where you will be exploring. Some of your objectives might include the summits of spectacular hills or exploring a secluded valley whilst other objectives will be set according to your science plan.

The safety and support of our Explorers is the cornerstone on which we build and develop an expedition from conception through to departure and return.

What's Involved?

You will have the opportunity to explore the natural world, being mentored and supported by expert leaders, expedition medics, scientists and adventure professionals
