Change a life today
With no government funding, the generosity of our donors makes every opportunity we provide possible.
Find out how you can support a young person to Find Their Fire today. Thank you.
Each of them had completed an expedition programme with us this year, and in doing so embraced our four core values of courage, challenge, self-belief and community.
At the event we held reflection sessions where expedition teams could look back on their experience and how it has already begun to impact them and their lives back home. We also organised career focused workshop sessions to help our newest Members begin to think about what they might go on to do next – a big thank you goes to our volunteer facilitators Aran, David, Vicki, Petra and David for making those workshops happen!
From fundraising, to training, all the way up to expedition and finally Explorer Celebrations – this year’s Young Explorers learnt new skills, put themselves to the test and have hopefully come away with a newfound sense of confidence and purpose, ready to carry with them in their future lives.
Don’t just take it from us though. Why not take a moment to hear it from the Young Explorers themselves?
At the event last weekend, we premiered a new video (above) which includes candid reflections from 2023’s Young Explorers, presented against a backdrop of the incredible footage they captured from their time in the wild this summer.
Sit back, press play and take 3 minutes to be inspired – you won’t be disappointed.
For us, it’s time to look ahead towards 2024. To our newest Members, we look forward to seeing what you go on to achieve next!
